Areas We Cover in South London
Locksmith Brixton is a fully mobile locksmith open 24 hours a day, serving twenty areas across South London — from Brixton Hill and Brixton Road through Kennington, Vauxhall, Clapham, Streatham and West Norwood. Because we have no fixed shop, we come to you anywhere inside that area. Call 07984 547185 and you will get an honest quote before any work starts.
Locksmith Brixton works the streets of South London every day of the week. Most of our callouts are in SW2 and SW9 — Brixton Hill, Brixton Road, Stockwell, Tulse Hill, Coldharbour, Angell Town and Ferndale — with regular work north to Kennington, the Oval and Vauxhall, west to Clapham and Clapham Park, and south to Streatham, Balham and West Norwood.
We are a mobile locksmith, so there is no shop to visit and no counter queue. One van carries the locks, tools and key-cutting equipment, and it travels to the address you give us. That is the whole model: you ring, we confirm the price on the call, and we drive to you.

The twenty areas we serve
Each of the areas below has its own page with detail about the streets, the housing and the locksmith jobs we handle there. These are the neighbourhoods we know well enough to describe honestly, because we work in them constantly.

- Stockwell (SW9) — the tube interchange, South Lambeth Road and the Portuguese community quarter
- Herne Hill (SE24) — the village feel around the station, Railton Road and Brockwell Park

Wider South London coverage
Beyond the twenty areas above, the van also reaches the streets around them on a normal working day: Battersea, Tooting, Dulwich, Peckham, Elephant and Castle and Bermondsey are all within range. If your street is not listed, ring anyway.
If your street is not listed, ring anyway. We will tell you plainly whether we can reach you and when, and if we cannot, we will say so rather than keep you waiting. A mobile locksmith that overpromises its coverage area helps nobody.
How a mobile locksmith covers an area
Coverage for us is not a pin on a map; it is where the van is and how fast it can legally get to you. We take one call at a time, give every caller a straight price for the job as described, and we only set off when you have accepted it.
Lockouts get priority when someone is standing outside their own door, but we do not quote arrival times we cannot keep. South London traffic on the A23 at rush hour is what it is. We would rather tell you thirty honest minutes than promise fifteen and arrive in forty.
Frequently asked questions
Do you really cover all of South London?
We cover the twenty areas listed on this page as our core working patch, plus the streets immediately around them. For addresses further out we give an honest answer on the call. We do not take on jobs we cannot reach in a sensible time.
Is there a call-out charge for coming to my area?
We quote a total price for the job on the call before we set off, and that price includes travel inside our coverage area. There is no separate call-out fee hidden in the small print. If the job changes once we arrive, we explain the new price and you decide.
Can I visit your shop instead?
There is no shop. Locksmith Brixton is fully mobile, so the workshop is a van and the van comes to you. Everything we need for lockouts, lock changes, repairs and key cutting travels with us.
Do you work at night and weekends?
Yes. We are open 24 hours, seven days a week, including bank holidays. Lockouts do not keep office hours, so neither do we. The same number, 07984 547185, works at 3am on a Sunday as it does at 10am on a Tuesday.
What do you need from me before you start work?
For a lockout we need to see that you live or work at the property, so have some ID or proof of address ready if you can. For a lock change or repair we need access to the door and your agreement to the quoted price. Nothing more complicated than that.
